Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program is required.
• Current Alabama Respiratory Therapist license is required.
• CRT or RRT credential through NBRC preferred.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Pre-Employment drug screening is required.
• Experience with critical care and ventilator management preferred.
• Knowledge of cardiopulmonary anatomy, physiology, and respiratory disease management.
• Proficiency with invasive and non-invasive ventilator management.
• Ability to perform blood gas analysis and bedside pulmonary diagnostics.
• Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills.
• Excellent communication and patient education abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
