Job summary

University of Southern California Arcadia Hospital is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to conduct bedside spirometry, operate and maintain respiratory equipment, and monitor patient progress with therapy. The role requires assessing outcomes and assisting in weaning from ventilation when appropriate.

Responsibilities include administering respiratory medications, educating patients, and supporting the resuscitation team with CPR and airway management.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent.
• Respiratory training/certification required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct bedside spirometry test including VC and FEVI.
• Setup, operate, troubleshoot respiratory equipment and maintain maintenance records.
• Assess patient for therapy and outcome of treatment and progress.
