Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) to assume responsibility for the nursing process and delivery of patient care in an ICU setting.

This travel RN role offers 36 hours per week in New Haven, CT, with a weekly pay of $2348. Active RN license, BLS/ACLS/PALS, and ICU experience are required.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license for the state in which the nurse practices.
• Current Health Certificate (if applicable).
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• The physical ability and perceptual acuity to satisfactorily perform all direct and indirect patient care functions.
• Demonstrate the ability to effectively use the nursing process.
• Minimum of one year ICU RN experience within the last three years preferred.
• Current BLS, ACLS and PALS card (per facility or ICU contract requirement).

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care per nursing standards and ensure delivery of patient care.
• Manage patient care and assist others in the management of patient care.
• Participate in the ICU nursing team to support critical care activities.

The Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Registered Nurse (RN) consistently performs according to nursing standards and is accountable in managing patient care and assisting others in the management of patient care.

• Current Health Certificate (if applicable).

• The physical ability and perceptual acuity, (e.g., visual, hearing) to satisfactorily perform all direct and indirect patient care functions.

• Current BLS, ACLS and PALS card (per facility or Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) contract requirement).
