Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) to assume responsibility and accountability for the application of the nursing process and the delivery of patient care in the ICU. The RN consistently performs according to nursing standards and supports care management across shifts.

Required include an active RN license for the state, current BLS/ACLS/PALS, health certificate as applicable, and immunization as mandated; one year ICU experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) License for the state of practice.
• Current Health Certificate (if applicable).
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray as required.
• Ability to perform all direct and indirect patient care functions using the nursing process.
• Minimum of one year ICU RN experience within the last three years preferred.
• Current BLS, ACLS and PALS cards as required by facility/ICU contract.

Responsibilities

• Apply the nursing process and deliver patient care in the ICU.
• Maintain accountability and assist others in patient care management.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) License for the state in which the nurse practices.
• Current Health Certificate (if applicable).
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• The physical ability and perceptual acuity, (e.g., visual, hearing) to satisfactorily perform all direct and indirect patient care functions.
• Demonstrate the ability to effectively use the nursing process.
• Minimum of one year ICU Registered Nurse (RN) experience within the last three years preferred.
• Current BLS, ACLS and PALS card (per facility or Intensive Care Unit (ICU)Registered Nurse (RN) contract requirement).
