Job summary

LifeShare Network is seeking experienced Critical Care Paramedics for a statewide travel role in Oklahoma. The position involves 12-hour night shifts at the Clinical Innovation Center in Oklahoma City, with rotating weekends and holidays, and responsibilities across rapid response, donor assessment, and family support.

You will deliver expert care to optimize donor conditions, lead educational sessions, and advance clinical practice within a life-saving organ recovery program.

Qualifications

• Experience in critical care settings such as ICU, ER, or flight/critical care transportation.
• Certified Critical Care Paramedics (CCP-C) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Rapid response and case management to assess donor viability and manage organ recovery.
• Provide expert care to optimize donor conditions for transplant viability.
• Support and communicate with donor families empathetically throughout the process.
• Lead education sessions and participate in advanced clinical procedures.

Location: Statewide travel across Oklahoma

Schedule: 12-hour night shifts (8 PM – 8 AM), including rotating weekends/holidays

What You Will Do

• Rapid Response and Case Management:Act swiftly on referrals to assess the viability of potential donors and manage the entire organ recovery process.
• Expert Care and Procedure Oversight:Utilize your specialized emergency care skills to optimize donor conditions, ensuring organs remain viable for transplant.
• Family Support and Guidance:Communicate sensitively and effectively with donor families, providing them with comfort and understanding of the organ donation process.
• Leadership in Education and Practice:Lead educational sessions for peers and partake in advanced clinical procedures to improve outcomes in organ recovery.
