Job summary

Decypher is seeking a Paramedic to join the Specialty Care Team at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth, VA, delivering advanced critical care during inter-facility transports and emergency operations, with close collaboration across transport, ED and hospital teams.

The role requires NREMT/NRAEMT/NRP certification, BLS, ACLS and PALS, plus a valid Emergency Vehicle/ Ambulance license and 12 months of NRP experience post‑graduation. Onsite shifts include 12‑hour rotations with a $2,500 sign‑on bonus.

Qualifications

• Certificate from an accredited NREMT program; valid EMT certification.
• BLS, NRP, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Valid license to operate Emergency Vehicle/Ambulance.
• 12 months of NRP experience after graduation.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized care on SCT and perform high-acuity transfers.
• Administer medications and monitor patient status during transports.
• Operate critical care equipment and document care provided.
• Collaborate with ED and hospital teams for continuous care.
• Support pediatric and OB patients as required.
