Job summary

Life Ambulance Network in Chicago seeks a Critical Care Paramedic to provide inter-facility transport with ICU-level care for critically ill or injured patients. You will work with critical care nurses, respiratory therapists, and online medical control to execute advanced care plans.

The role requires completion of an accredited Paramedic program, an active Illinois Paramedic license, and CCP certification (or equivalent) as dictated by state regulations.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED and completion of an accredited Paramedic program.
• Active Illinois Paramedic license and CCP certification or equivalent as required by Illinois regulations.
• Valid driver’s license, EVOC, ACLS, PALS, PHTLS, ITLS, NRP.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive critical care during patient transport.
• Collaborate with nurses and online medical control to develop care plans.
• Maintain readiness of equipment and supplies for critical care transports.
