Job summary

Superior Ambulance Service is seeking a skilled Paramedic to provide high-quality critical care transport across multiple locations in the Midwest. You will evaluate, treat, and stabilize patients before and during transport, coordinating with physicians and the transport team to ensure safe, timely care.

The role requires ALS experience, EMT-Paramedic certification, and a valid driver’s license. Opportunities include competitive compensation and career growth within a large EMS network.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of ALS experience.
• State EMT-P License.
• AHA BLS Certification.
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality care to patients during transport under Medical Director guidance.
• Autonomously evaluate critically ill or injured patients across all ages and prepare for transport.
• Collaborate with team members including drivers, leadership, and healthcare partners.
• Assess patient status changes and proactively address patient and family needs.
• Plan and position equipment for emergency conditions before, during, and after transport.
• Maintain complete records, participate in quality assurance, and assist with special projects.
• Maintain proficiency in critical care procedures and equipment used in transport.
• Complete transports within shift timelines and be flexible for extended hours if needed.
• Engage in required training and maintain certifications and licenses.
• Demonstrate effective communication with patients, families, hospital staff and partners.
