Job summary

Atrium Health Mercy is seeking a Master’s-degree prepared nurse to apply clinical expertise in evidence-based nursing within a specialty area and function as a clinical expert, educator, system thinker, change agent, and innovator.

The role requires a Master’s degree in Nursing (Education or Health Care Administration preferred), with two years of teaching experience and at least three years of RN clinical practice in the designated area.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in nursing or higher required.
• Two years teaching experience preferred; minimum 3 years clinical RN experience in the relevant area.
• Critical care experience required; ICU and progressive care coverage.
• Life Support Instructor Certification may be required.
• RN license in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based nursing education and clinical expertise within a specialty area.
• Serve as educator, system thinker, and change agent to improve patient care.
• Develop and evaluate curricula, train staff, and coordinate educational activities.
