Job summary

Engage Partners Inc. is seeking a Nursing Educator to plan and deliver orientation and ongoing educational activities within the Nursing Department.

The role involves collaborating with fellow educators to ensure nursing staff are competent, oriented, and up-to-date with new equipment and procedures. The position requires a NYS RN license, a minimum of 5 years in critical care, and American Heart Association BCLS certification.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years critical care experience; applicable teaching and clinical experience.
• Certification in specialty area preferred.
• NYS RN license required.
• American Heart Association certification in Basic Life Support (BCLS) required.

Responsibilities

• Plans and implements educational activities aligned with the organization's mission and resources.
• Collaborates with Educators to plan, implement, and evaluate nursing orientation processes.
• Participates in formal orientation classes for all new nursing department staff.
• Monitors staff through direct observation and dialogue with supervision to ensure competency.
• Educates staff on new equipment and maintains training records in their educational file.
