Job summary

St. Francis Hospital & Heart Center, part of Catholic Health in Roslyn, NY, seeks dedicated NP/PA to join the Critical Care Services team.

You will manage critically ill adults with complex conditions, collaborating with intensivists in a 24/7, multidisciplinary environment. Opportunity to develop ECMO, LVAD, and advanced hemodynamic skills; prior critical care experience or new graduate with rotations will be considered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Current New York State Physician Assistant license.
• Current NCCPA certification (PA-C).
• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Current New York State Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner licenses.
• Current Acute Care Nurse Practitioner certification (ACNP).
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive clinical management of critically ill adult patients.
• Perform detailed patient assessments and medical histories.
• Develop individualized treatment plans with Critical Care Intensivists and team.
• Order, review, and interpret labs and imaging.
• Manage multi-organ dysfunction and stabilize patients.
• Participate in emergency and critical care interventions.
• Prescribe medications within NYS licensure and privileges.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and participate in quality initiatives.
