Job summary

Wentworth-Douglas Hospital in Dover, NH seeks a full-time Nurse Practitioner to join its Critical Care team. The role includes ten 12-hour shifts per month with flexibility for rotating days/nights or a nocturnist schedule.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed nurse practitioner.
• Experience in critical care or ICU settings preferred.
• Ability to perform comprehensive histories and physical exams.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-acuity, evidence-based care for critically ill patients in ICU.
• Conduct rounds, coordinate care transitions, and participate in family discussions.
• Order and interpret labs and diagnostics, develop and adjust plans of care.
• Perform bedside procedures as appropriate and maintain thorough documentation.
