NPACE is seeking an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner for the Heart and Vascular Institute Critical Care Unit (HVICCU). The 30-bed unit provides 24/7/365 care for cardiac surgery, vascular surgery, interventional cardiology, and transplant patients, including those who have undergone CABG, valve surgery, LVADs, ECMO, and related therapies.

APPs oversee direct critical care management in HVICCU, participate in daily rounds, assess patients, and revise medical plans with the interdisciplinary team.

Competenze

• Master's degree in a Critical Care NP program with at least 1 year CRNP experience and 3 years critical care nursing.
• Licensed in PA as CRNP in good standing.
• Knowledge of critical care with ACLS/BLS certifications.
• National certification as an Advanced Practice Nurse.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.

Mansioni

• Direct critical care management in HVICCU.
• Actively participate in daily rounds and revise medical management plans with physicians and teams.
• Perform procedures including arterial line placement, central line placement, Swan-Ganz catheter insertion, and IABP removal; chest tubes and pacing wires as needed.
