Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare seeks locum tenens physicians for inpatient assignments in Fort Smith, AR. Shifts are 12 hours, either 7am-7pm or 7pm-7am, with scheduled clinical hours plus in-house call and a daytime call support structure.

The role includes rounding responsibilities and expected involvement with ventilation and line procedures. Candidates should have experience with central/arterial lines, PA catheters, and bronchoscopy with BAL preferred.

Qualifications

• Inpatient setting experience preferred.
• Willingness to cover 12-hour shifts (7am-7pm or 7pm-7am).
• Experience with critical care procedures is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work 12-hour shifts: 7 am–7 pm or 7 pm–7 am.
• Perform rounding in inpatient settings and participate in in-house call.
• Handle call duties with daytime support from staff.
• Utilize ventilation management and airway procedures as needed.
• Assist with central line, arterial line, and PA catheter procedures where required.
