Adelphi Medical Staffing is seeking a Critical Care Physician for coverage in Fort Smith, Arkansas. The role involves rounding on critically ill patients, in-house call coverage, and management of ventilators and invasive/non-invasive airway support.

The position requires Board eligible/Board certified status within 5 years of residency, and an AR medical license. Temporary privileges are available and supervision of mid-levels and residents may be required.

REQUIRED PROCEDURES

Required:

• Chest tube insertion
  
• Evaluation and management of acute volume/BP issues
  
• Insertion of Central line
  
• Insertion of Arterial line
  
• Insertion of PA catheter
  
• Insertion of Intra-Aortic Balloon pump (IABP) (Temporary placement)
  
• ICP evaluation and management
  
• Diagnostic/therapeutic taps
  
• Lumbar puncture
  

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Board: BC/BE (within 5 years of residency)
  
• Licenses: Licensed in AR
  
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ATLS, PALS
• Other Qualifications: Proficiency in critical care procedures as listed
