Job summary

AMN Healthcare Physician Solutions seeks a Critical Care Medicine NP/PA for locum tenens in New Hampshire. The 20-bed mixed medical/surgical ICU will require arterial lines, intubations, central lines, and ventilator management.

Shifts are 7:30 PM–7:30 AM with about 15 night shifts per month and some days. You must hold an active NH license, board certification, and be credentialed quickly.

Qualifications

• Critical care NP/PA with ICU experience.
• Must provide recent case logs for required procedures.
• Active NH license and DEA/CSR; board certification required.

Responsibilities

• Manage critically ill adult ICU patients.
• Perform arterial lines, intubations, central lines, and ventilator management.
• Provide bedside care in a 20-bed ICU; night shift coverage.
• Credentialing to be completed ASAP.

Critical Care Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (NP/PA)

StartDate: ASAP Pay Rate: $106.70 - $115.50

This facility is seeking a Critical Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

• Schedule: 7:30 PM - 7:30 AM night shifts; occasional day shifts. Weekday and weekend coverage. Approximately 15-night shifts per month.


• Practice Setting: Inpatient. 20-bed mixed medical/surgical Intensive Care Unit with cardiothoracic surgery patients. Average daily census of approximately 11 patients.


• Type of cases and required procedures: Management of critically ill adult ICU patients, including post-operative cardiothoracic surgery patients. Experienced providers only. Required procedures include arterial lines (5 logs within the last 12 months), intubations (20 logs within the last 12 months), central lines (5 logs within the last 12 months), and ventilator management. Providers must be able to provide recent case logs for required procedures.


• Credentialing timeframe: As soon as credentialed.


• Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Not specified.


• Certifications required: Advanced Life Support - Critical Care Unit (ALS-CSU). Board Certification required.


• Licensure required: Active New Hampshire license, Easily Transferrable Drug Enforcement Administration License (DEA), and Controlled Substance Registration (CSR). Provider must present active licensure at submission.
