Job summary

Qualifications

• Current RN license required.
• Multistate license must establish residency with Idaho Board within 60 days from hire.
• BLS certification required; ACLS/PALS may be accepted in lieu of BLS.
• ACLS/PALS within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides professional nursing care in collaboration with health care team in ongoing assessment, planning and treatment of patients and families.
• Maintains accurate and complete documentation of nursing services; serves as patient advocate.
• Educates patient based on assessment of needs; develops, implements and evaluates plan of care.
• Communicates patient status and care plan to other caregivers; administers medications.
• Demonstrates safe operation of patient care equipment; adheres to safety policies.
