AdventHealth Redmond in Northwest Georgia is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (PA or APRN) to join our Critical Care Unit. This role covers night shifts (7:00 PM–7:00 AM) on a 7 on/7 off schedule, offering strong work-life balance and collaboration with an Intensivist.

Key procedures include chest tube placement, thoracentesis, intubation, lumbar punctures, and arterial/central line placement, performed within credentialed scope.

Qualifications

• Current PA or APRN license in Georgia.
• Minimum 1+ years of hospital-based PA/APRN experience.
• ICU experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to perform advanced medical procedures.

Position Overview

As an APP in our Critical Care Unit, you will play a vital role in delivering high quality patient care during night shifts (7:00 PM 7:00 AM) on a 7 on/7 off schedule, offering exceptional work life balance. You will collaborate closely with colleagues to ensure continuous coverage and optimal patient outcomes. This role involves managing a broad range of critical care cases and performing advanced procedures within your credentialed scope.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert-level patient care in the Critical Care Unit with remote supervision by an Intensivist.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and hospital leadership to ensure seamless patient management and continuity of care.
• Perform advanced procedures such as chest tube placement, thoracentesis, needle thoracostomy, intubation, lumbar punctures, central and arterial line placement, and other procedures as credentialed.
• Demonstrate strong clinical judgment and proficiency in managing complex critical care cases.

Qualifications

• Current PA or APRN license in the state of Georgia.
• Minimum of 1+ years of experience as a PA or APRN in a hospital setting.
• Prior ICU experience as an Advanced Practice Provider strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to perform advanced medical procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient centered approach.

Compensation & Benefits

This position offers a competitive compensation package over $200k, inclusive of a quality incentive bonus. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, training, and overall qualifications. The incentive bonus recognizes performance across key areas, including quality, compliance, teamwork, and productivity.
