Job summary

Trusted Health is seeking an experienced travel nurse for a multi-unit ICU assignment. The role requires floating to Medical ICU, Surgical/Trauma ICU, Cardiac/CVICU, and Neuro ICU, with rotating 12-hour shifts and a 16-week contract.

Candidates should have 3+ years ICU experience, Level 1 trauma exposure, and Hawaii license submission allowed with vaccine requirements. Local and travel allowed.

Qualifications

• Three or more years ICU staff RN experience in large tertiary/quaternary, Level 1 trauma centers.
• Experience with mixed Medical/Surgical ICU and/or specialty ICUs preferred.
• CRRT experience desired.
• Previous Queen’s Health System ICU traveler experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Travel nurse floating to multiple units as needed.
• Rotate AM/PM shifts with holidays as required.
• Cover ICU, stepdown, telemetry units based on operational needs.
• Provide high-level critical care across Medical ICU, Surgical/Trauma ICU, Cardiac/CVICU, Neuro ICU.

Experience

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 3 years of Critical Care Float Pool experience.
• Experience with Epic is preferred.
• 3 years of Trauma Level 1 facility is required.
• BSN completion preferred.

Requirements

• Candidates must have a Hawaii license (required for submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Local & travel allowed.

• No current placement allowed at Program: Medefis Program - The Queen’s Health System (Non-MSP - VMS).

Unit Details:- Medical ICU cares for pulmonary, renal, and sepsis patients.- Surgical/Trauma ICU at a Level 1 trauma center.- Cardiac/CVICU includes open-heart, ECMO, LVAD, and transplant patients.- Neuro ICU includes Neuro IR/neurosurgery and primary stroke care.

Shift & Scheduling:- Rotating AM/PM shifts.- Holidays as required.

Floating Requirements:- Float to stepdown or telemetry units based on operational need.- If not needed on their unit or a similar unit as an RN, may be assigned as a nursing assistant or safety sitter.
