Required Skills/Experience:- Three (3) or more years ICU Staff RN experience excluding travel assignments in large tertiary/quaternary, Level 1 trauma centers.
Preferred Skills/Experience:- Experience in mixed Medical/Surgical ICU and/or specialty ICUs preferred.- CRRT experience desired.- Previous ICU Float Pool experience highly desired.- Previous Queen’s Health System ICU traveler experience highly preferred.
Required Credentials:- Must pass EKG exam with a score of 80% or better during orientation.
Special Requests:- Prefer talent without RTO; however, limited RTO will be approved after 30 days on assignment.
Unit Details:- Medical ICU cares for pulmonary, renal, and sepsis patients.- Surgical/Trauma ICU at a Level 1 trauma center.- Cardiac/CVICU includes open-heart, ECMO, LVAD, and transplant patients.- Neuro ICU includes Neuro IR/neurosurgery and primary stroke care.
Shift & Scheduling:- Rotating AM/PM shifts.- Holidays as required.
Floating Requirements:- Float to stepdown or telemetry units based on operational need.- If not needed on their unit or a similar unit as an RN, may be assigned as a nursing assistant or safety sitter.
