Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Required Skills/Experience:Prior floating experience is required (float pool shifts, other facilities, and/or floating to other floors/units).
Preferred Skills/Experience:High-acuity experience is preferred.Night shift candidates: Experience with CRRT, Impella, ECMO, and IABP is helpful, prioritized in that order; PA catheter experience is likely with these devices, but not all of this experience is required.

Unit Details:The unit follows standard AACN CCU staffing; assignments are 1-2 depending on acuity and may be 1-3 when acuity is lower and/or transfer orders are present. The patient population includes medical, surgical, neurologic, and cardiac patients. RNs titrate drips; common titratable or set-rate drips include Epi, Norepi, Dobutamine, Propofol, Esmolol, Hydromorphone, Midazolam, and CIS. The unit uses ventilators, high-flow oxygen, BiPAP, and CPAP. Philips monitors are used, and RNs read strips.
Shift & Scheduling:3 weekend shifts per schedule are required. Holiday requirements apply. Self-scheduling is allowed. No call or standby requirement.
Floating Requirements:The float pool includes Critical Care, Observation, Medical-Surgical, General Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, Short Stay Surgery, Thoracic Surgery, Neurosurgery, Oncology, Telemetry, and Progressive Care units.
Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days
