Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 2 years of Critical Care Float Pool experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).
• 3 months of Cerner experience is preferred.
• Trauma Level 1 experience is required with 6 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

Unit Details:Float cluster includes Tower 2 (medical, surgical, and trauma patients), Tower 4 (cardiothoracic ICU with lung transplants and ECMO), and 4 Neuro (neuro ICU).Uses all types of respiratory support, telemetry monitors, GE equipment, and all critical drips.

Shift & Scheduling:Maximum 7 days of PTO.4 weekend shifts per 4 weeks; weekends are Saturday and Sunday.Holidays as required based on unit needs.No call. If placed on standby due to low census, response time is 30 minutes.

Floating Requirements:Will be required to float among all ICU areas and MedSurg/Tele units, including sister campuses Westgate in Glendale and AZ General Laveen. Must be able to function independently when floated outside the primary area and cannot refuse floating assignments.
