Role Description The Critical Care Flight Paramedic is a full-time, on-site role based in Philadelphia, PA, providing advanced life support and critical care to patients during fixed-wing air ambulance transports. This position is responsible for assessing patient condition, implementing evidence-based interventions, and monitoring responses throughout each mission in collaboration with flight nurses and medical control. The role includes preparing and maintaining medical equipment and supplies, ensuring readiness and adherence to safety protocols, and accurately documenting all aspects of patient care and transport. The Flight Paramedic will participate in pre-flight briefings, post-flight debriefings, and ongoing training to maintain clinical proficiency, regulatory compliance, and operational readiness. The role also involves effective communication with patients, families, and partners to support a safe, compassionate, and efficient transport experience.
