Qualifications

• High school graduation or GED certificate.
• Completion of a technical nursing assistant program or related coursework.
• Successful completion of EKG course for Monitor Technicians and competency in ECG rhythm interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient care activities to meet personal needs and comfort and supports unit operations.
• Conducts continuous EKG monitoring and interprets rhythms; notifies changes to staff.
• Performs secretarial/receptionist duties and maintains records for the unit.
