TouchPoint is hiring a Critical Care Nutrition Support Dietitian in Detroit, MI. The role focuses on advanced medical nutrition therapy in a high-acuity inpatient setting and requires RDN or CDR eligibility with licensure or willingness to obtain it.

You will work with interdisciplinary teams, participate in education, and contribute to ongoing nutrition care improvements while benefiting from education reimbursement and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) or eligible via CDR.
• Licensed Dietitian in the state of practice or willing to obtain licensure.
• Specialty certification when required.
• Two years of work experience in specialty preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clinical Nutrition Care: Assess patients and develop care plans in a designated specialty area.
• Education: Guide nutrition and lifestyle strategies for patients, families, staff, and community.
• Evidence-Based Practice: Apply latest research per diet manual, policies, and protocols to ensure quality care.
• Quality & Performance Improvement: Contribute to QAPI initiatives to advance patient care.
• Collaboration & Service Excellence: Partner with food service to achieve patient satisfaction goals.
• Mentorship & Professional Development: Support growth of staff and dietetic interns.
