Job summary

Sodexo is hiring a Registered Dietitian for MedStar Harbor Hospital in Baltimore, MD. Provide medical nutrition therapy for ICU, Step-down, and NICU in a 150-bed teaching hospital along the Patapsco River.

The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with hybrid work flexibility and strong benefits including professional dues, CEUs, and tuition reimbursement. Sign-on bonus may be available for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in nutrition, dietetics, or related field per ACEND guidelines.
• RD/RDN eligibility via CDR and registration within 120 days of hire.
• State licensure/certification requirements at time of hire where applicable.
• 0-1 years of management experience.
• 0-3 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nutrition care for patients using the Nutrition Care Process (assessment, diagnosis, intervention, monitoring and evaluation).
• Act as a nutrition resource for patients, peers and foodservice staff across disciplines to ensure safe, high-quality care.
• Provide evidence-based nutrition counseling and training to patients and healthcare staff.
• Maintain professional practices aligned with regulatory standards and Sodexo policies.
• Participate in or lead performance improvement initiatives to improve outcomes and efficiency.
• Demonstrate ongoing professional growth through continuing education and training.

Pay Range: $77605 - $100430

• Education Requirement:
• Master’s degree in nutrition, dietetics, or related field with required coursework and supervised practice per ACEND guidelines
• OR, for those eligible prior to 1/1/2024: Bachelor’s degree meeting ACEND requirements.

• Related Experience: 0-3 years
• Credentials Requirement:
• Meets eligibility for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) via CDR and will become registered within 120 days of hire
