Qualifications

• MD or MD/PhD or equivalent degree required.
• ABA certification in anesthesiology or status as a candidate in the examination system, with ability to obtain PA license.

Responsibilities

• Teach medical students, residents, and fellows rotating through the operating rooms and wards of HUP, PPMC, and PAH; participate in lectures, small groups, workshops, and/or simulation sessions.
• Provide critical care and anesthesia services at HUP, PPMC, and PAH; opportunities to participate in tele-critical care and mobile ECMO.
• Intensivists usually have one home unit and may rotate through one or two additional ICUs depending on ICU weeks worked.
