Job summary

Carle Health Methodist Hospital in Peoria, Illinois seeks experienced Advanced Practice Providers to join our Inpatient Hospital ICU team.

You will partner with 4 Critical Care Physicians and 1 Nurse Practitioner to manage ICU patients in a 12-bed CVICU and a 12-bed Medical/Surgical ICU, with comprehensive orientation and a sign-on bonus of up to $10,000.

Shifts are 8 or 12 hours with a mix of days, nights, evenings and weekends, offering a competitive hourly rate and robust benefits.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of Acute Care/ICU experience as a Provider or RN required.
• Master's degree in Nursing with Acute Care specialty (ACNP) or Physician Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Assist with management of critical care patients in the ICU.
• Work with Pulmonology/Critical Care Physicians and Providers to deliver care.
• Orientation and training provided; procedures will be performed.

CarleHealth is seeking experienced Advanced Practice Providers to join our Inpatient Hospital ICU team at Carle Health Methodist Hospital in Peoria, Illinois.

Opportunity Details

• Join a team of 4 Critical Care Physicians and 1 Nurse Practitioner
• Assist with management of critical care patients in the ICU along with Pulmonology/Critical Care Physicians and Providers
• Procedures will be performed; full training completed over several months of orientation
• Working in our 12-bed CVICU and 12-bed Medical/Surgical ICU; average patient census is 5 patients/shift
• Flexible and varied schedule of 8 or 12-hour shifts
• Mix of week day/night/evening and weekend shifts
• Up to $10,000 sign-on bonus

Educational/Experience Requirements

• Master's degree in Nursing with Acute Care specialty (ACNP) or Physician Assistant
• 1 -3 years of Acute Care/Intensive Care experience as a Provider or as an RN required

Licensure/Certification Requirements

• Current Illinois registered nurse license and advanced practice nurse licensure/physician assistant licensure

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation range for this position is $60.72 - $78.94/hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
