Job summary

Barnabas Health Medical Group in New Jersey is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider Lead to oversee the Critical Care APPs RWJSH team. The role coordinates inpatient care in collaboration with the Physician for Critical Care and provides expert bedside practice with leadership responsibilities.

You will mentor APPs, support scheduling and quality improvement initiatives, participate in rounds, family discussions, and ensure adherence to patient safety standards.

Qualifications

• APN or PA certification required.
• Leadership experience preferred.
• Acute care hospital experience preferred.
• Current NJ license, CDS and DEA.
• BLS and ACLS required.

Responsibilities

• Provides advanced critical care to ICU/IMCU patients.
• Leads APP team with mentorship and scheduling support.
• Collaborates with physicians and multidisciplinary staff.
• Participates in rounds, quality improvement and safety initiatives.
