Job summary

SilkRoad seeks a managing editor for Criterion at La Sierra University in Riverside. The role oversees content and communication for several Criterion pieces per quarter, coordinating with faculty staff and the chief editor.

The editor attends weekly meetings, drafts agendas, records minutes, manages the Criterion drive, and keeps the team aligned with the schedule set by faculty staff and the chief editor.

Qualifications

• Must be a registered La Sierra Student.
• Must complete Student Authorization Form via Etrieve with Silvia Stenner (Office ofStudent Life).
• Must have received Work Clearance Approval from Human Resources before taking on assignment.

• The managing editor is responsible for attending weekly editorial meetings, creating the agenda ahead of the meeting time, taking notes on the agenda during the meetings, managing Criterion drive, and making the editorial team aware of the schedule outlined by faculty staff and the chief editor.

Stipulations

• Must be a registered La Sierra Student
• Must complete Student Authorization Form via Etrieve with Silvia Stenner (Office ofStudent Life)

Expectations

• Editors are not to exceed more than 2 hours clocked in per-pay period (2-week payperiod)

Pay Range: $16.90 to $17.00 per hour
