Job summary

Compass Health is seeking a Clinical Manager to provide clinical and operational leadership across the Whatcom Triage program in Bellingham and MARC Triage program in Everett, WA. The role guides crisis triage services and supervises a multidisciplinary team to ensure timely, coordinated care.

The position requires a Master's degree in a behavioral health field, active WA licensure, 3–5 years in behavioral health, and strong skills in supervision, documentation, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or related field.
• Active WA state associate clinical license such as LMHCA/LSWAIC/LMFTA.
• 3–5+ years of experience in behavioral health services.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements (WAC/RCW, DOH, Medicaid) and agency standards.
• Ability to supervise and coach multidisciplinary staff.
• Strong organizational, communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced, 24/7 crisis service environment.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision, coaching, performance feedback, and development support to multidisciplinary staff.
• Support hiring, onboarding, training, staff engagement, and workforce development.
• Provide real-time clinical consultation for risk assessments, crisis intervention, and care coordination.
• Ensure services align with best practices, standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate daily clinical operations across both triage sites and manage staffing needs.
• Identify workflow inefficiencies and implement improvements for cross-site coordination.
• Monitor program performance indicators (documentation timeliness, throughput, productivity).
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, audits, and protocol development.
• Collaborate with Clinical Nurse Manager and Operations Manager on coordinated operations.
• Participate in the program's on-call rotation.
