Job summary

TFI Family Services in Kansas (Iola) is seeking a Crisis Support Worker to join our team. This full-time role supports children after hours, helping transport them to foster homes and assist in moderate crises.

We require a high school diploma or equivalent; previous experience serving children and families is preferred. We will teach you the rest. Two shifts are offered with a rotating weekend on-call every four weeks, plus a company car, cell phone, and compute support.

Average hourly rate is $14.55 (including wage, incentives, bonuses, overtime, shift differential, etc.)

Two shifts are available: Monday - Thursday 4p to 2a and Monday – Thursday 12a – 10a. Both shifts will require a rotating on-call weekend once every four weeks.

A Day in The Life as a Crisis Support Worker

As a Crisis Support Worker, you will assist with children after hours. These situations may include, transporting a child to their new foster home or helping a child in moderate crisis. This is a full-time position. Support Workers may be asked to be with a child in a hospital or any of our numerous offices in the area. We do provide a company car, cell phone and compute. This position requires a rotation of weekend on call hours once every four weeks.
