Job summary

Brandi's Hope is seeking a Crisis Support Direct Support Professional to assist individuals with developmental disabilities in daily activities, self-care, and community participation. The DSP will work an A shift (7am–7pm) on Sunday to Tuesday, with Wednesday 7am–1pm.

Starting wage is $14 per hour with a guaranteed 45-hour week; after orientation the rate increases to $15 per hour. This role offers 80 hours of paid time off annually and paid training time.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum one year of verifiable work with individuals with developmental disabilities in the last three years.
• Valid driver's license to transport clients as needed.
• Current CPR training required.
• Background check and drug screening prior to employment.

Job description

Brandi's Hope is looking for a Crisis Support Direct Support Professional. All applicants must be at least 18 years of age, possess a high school diploma or equivalency, minimum two years' experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, valid driver's license, and pass background checks. The starting pay for this position is $14.00 per hour with a set, guaranteed schedule of 45 hour per week. DSPs are given 3 hours of unworked overtime pay for perfect attendance each weekly shift, earned perfect attendance bonus. After successful completion of orientation, the rate of pay will increase to $15.00 per hour.

This position is for a Crisis Support Direct Support Professional (A shift 7a Days) Hours: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday 7am - 7pm and Wednesday 7am-1pm. Duties include, but not limited to: Provide daily support to individuals with varying degrees of development/intellectual disabilities. Will assist these persons within the following areas: self-care, recreational activities, and community inclusion. Depending on need of client a DSP may be expected to transport to appointments, assist with feeding and hygiene and other daily life skills.

Qualifications
