Job summary

Oakland Community Health Network is seeking a SSU Supervisor to oversee the Substance Use Stabilization Unit staff and ensure high-quality recovery-oriented services. This role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and experience in leading teams within the public sector.

The Supervisor will foster a supportive environment, monitor service delivery, coordinate admissions and discharges, and collaborate with community partners. Strong leadership skills and knowledge of mental health regulations are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Bachelor’s degree in a human service-related field or bachelor's degree in nursing (RN).
• Experience working with individuals with Substance Use Disorders.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision and guidance to SSU staff during assigned shifts.
• Monitor staff performance and provide ongoing coaching and support.
• Ensure accurate, timely, and complete documentation and recordkeeping.
