Position Summary:

The Technician, Crisis Services, will provide mobile crisis services in the community as part of the Mobile Crisis Team and Crisis Stabilization Services at the Green Door Center. This position will also facilitate follow-up services to secure safe disposition for clients of all ages in immediate crisis.

Work Schedule:

This part-time position involves a 12-hour shift with a 30-minute lunch, working on Saturdays from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM on Sundays. Opportunities to pick up additional shifts during the week may be available based on staffing and availability.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Provide crisis services to individuals within the community.
2. Collaborate and advocate for positive outcomes for individuals in crisis.
3. Develop and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
4. Maintain current required training and certifications.
5. Perform triage of telephone contacts and on-site crisis situations to distinguish between routine, urgent, and emergent cases.
6. Provide crisis support and intervention via phone or in person to individuals in psychiatric crisis.
7. Facilitate safe and appropriate dispositions based on individual needs.
8. Identify suitable family and community resources and gather necessary documentation for safe client disposition.
9. Complete all clinical documentation in accordance with Family Health Center policies and procedures.
10. Consult with other professionals, departments, law enforcement, and first responders to coordinate effective crisis services.
11. Transport clients in crisis when appropriate to ensure safe disposition or follow-up attendance.

Minimum Education and Experience:

a. Education: High School Diploma or G.E.D.

b. Experience: No specific requirements; however, preference may be given to candidates with relevant experience.
