Job summary

Rosecrance Behavioral Health in Illinois seeks a Mental Health Clinician to provide rehabilitation services to children and families, including crisis response in Kankakee, Ford and Iroquois counties. The role involves stabilization, linkage services and family consultations.

The clinician will drive to crisis locations within 90 minutes, perform case management, and work toward empowering clients to function in the least restrictive setting possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology or related field; Master’s preferred.
• Able to conduct individual, group and family counseling.
• Provide case management, treatment planning, and discharge planning.

Responsibilities

• Deliver rehabilitation services and support to children and families.
• Respond to mental health crises in Kankakee, Ford, and Iroquois counties.
• Coordinate with family, community resources and clinicians.
• Maintain documentation and comply with timeframes.
• Participate in clinical team meetings and trainings.
• Deliver services aiming to reduce hospitalization and crises.
