Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Starlink Crisis Response Lead to drive operational readiness, data-driven decision making, and cross-functional collaboration across global emergency response efforts.

The role requires adapting plans under high pressure, coordinating with federal and local agencies, and relocating to Bastrop, TX if not local. Strong program management and stakeholder engagement are essential for mission success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in emergency management or related field.
• 3+ years of professional experience in emergency/crisis response.
• 2+ years of consulting, project management, or crisis response coordination experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive Operational Readiness & Process Excellence: Monitor readiness metrics, identify risks/gaps, and lead process improvements.
• Build Cross-Functional Networks & Enablement Capabilities: Partner with internal teams to improve handoffs and information flow during crises.
• Data Analytics & Insights: Gather, analyze, and present data on response performance and risk trends to support decision-making.
• Support Engagement Strategies: Develop external engagement frameworks and long-term relationships.
• External Stakeholder Interface: Serve as a point of contact with emergency response stakeholders globally to understand requirements.
• Advocate for Customer Needs Internally: Translate field insights into improvements for Starlink products and services.
