Job summary

St. Mary's General Hospital in Passaic, NJ, is seeking a per diem residential care support professional to supervise and assist adults in housing settings, provide direct care, and help develop service plans for independence and community integration.

The role requires a relevant degree or equivalent experience, a valid New Jersey driver’s license, and the ability to work in a dynamic, caregiving environment with flexible shifts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in social work, psychology, rehabilitation or a related field.
• High School Graduates with additional specific experience will be considered on a case by case basis.
• Associate’s Degree - two (2) years full time experience with related work or life experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, engage and support adult consumers in a residential setting (transitional, crisis, and/or supported housing).
• Provide direct care, assisting clients with all activities of daily living, as needed using direction, modeling, and prompting.
• Assist in developing and facilitating service planning to promote further independence and community integration.
