Job summary

Hudson Regional Health is seeking a behavioral health professional to coordinate and deliver psychiatric emergency services across our hospitals. You will conduct crisis screening, provide brief counseling, referrals, and skills training within an integrated team.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s in a related field, a NJ driver’s license, and at least 2 years of experience in psychiatric emergency or acute behavioral health services. Day shifts and flexible coverage are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or related field.
• Valid NJ Driver’s License required.
• Minimum of 2 years of related experience in psychiatric emergency, crisis intervention or acute behavioral health services.
• Strong written and spoken English; Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate delivery of comprehensive psychiatric emergency services per departmental standards.
• Provide crisis screening, brief non‑clinical counseling, referrals and skills training; crisis management support; care coordination and follow‑up.
• Participate in case conferences, interdisciplinary teams, protocol development and evaluation.
