Fairview Health Services in Minnesota seeks a part-time Mental Health Crisis Care clinician to support Emergency Department services and the EmPATH program. The role emphasizes crisis assessments, therapeutic interventions, and collaboration with psychiatry and medical teams.

Responsibilities include treatment planning, discharge planning, and education for patients and families, with a focus on youth and adults in crisis and telehealth options as needed.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or closely related discipline.
• Basic Life Support Certification.
• Licensed in Minnesota: psychologist, independent clinical social worker, marriage family therapist, or professional clinical counselor.
• Proficiency with electronic health records and computer-based assessments.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and switch between tasks efficiently.

Responsabilités

• Conduct crisis and diagnostic assessments.
• Determine clinical interventions and provide therapy.
• Facilitate individual, couples, and family therapy; provide psycho-education groups.
• Develop and direct patient care and disposition plans; coordinate with interdisciplinary teams.
