Job summary

Compass Health Network is seeking a Crisis Line Clinician to support callers during nights from 11:45pm to 8:00am. This remote role requires Missouri residency and focuses on immediate, person-centered crisis intervention via phone.

You will assess safety, identify needs, and link callers to local services, while coordinating with partners to ensure safe, timely care. A behavioral health background and DSM-V knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have at least one year of experience in behavioral health or human services if Associate degree is the highest degree obtained.
• Working knowledge of DSM-V required.
• Associate degree or 60 college credits required.
• Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide trauma-informed and person-centered crisis intervention via phone.
• Assess caller needs, screen for safety, and connect to appropriate services or resources.
• Collaborate with internal and external providers to ensure coordinated care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with agency standards.
• Participate in supervision and team meetings to support continuous improvement

As a Crisis Line Clinician with Compass Health Network, you’ll provide immediate, person-centered support to individuals reaching out through our Disaster Line. You’ll help identify needs, offer compassionate crisis intervention, and connect callers to services and resources that promote safety, stability, and hope.
