Cummins Behavioral Health Systems, Inc. is seeking to hire a Crisis Intervention Specialist (CIS). The Crisis Intervention Specialist provides crisis intervention services to diverse individuals, families, and other professionals assisting those in crisis. Utilizing contemporary crisis prevention and intervention evidence-based practices, Specialists work as a member of an interdisciplinary team that includes Peer Recovery Specialists, therapists, and community emergency response systems including but not limited to local law enforcement, hospitals, and emergency first responders. The position consists of a combination of virtual service and face-to-face service in the community, mindful of safety guidelines and risk mitigation procedures.
We have various crisis shifts including daytime, evening, overnight, and weekends available. Open for discussion about the shift times.
