Job summary

Rudolph Community & Care is hiring a Crisis Interventionist (Direct Support Professional) to provide hands-on, person-centered support to individuals with mental health, behavioral, and developmental needs. This role supports crisis-home operations opening soon in Carver area and requires experience in high-needs settings.

Candidates should have at least three years of direct care experience; crisis-home and behavioral support backgrounds are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of direct care experience required.
• Experience in crisis homes, behavioral support programs, mental health settings, or similar high-needs environments preferred.
• Ability to write narratives in grammatically correct English.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct care to person-served.
• Monitors and maintains safety and health of individuals.
• Interacts with individuals receiving services.
• Administers medication as needed.
• Assists with daily living such as cooking, cleaning, and personal care.
• De-escalates interfering behavior to ensure safety.
• Supports activities and social experiences within the community.
• Communicates concerns with supervisor.
