This is anIn-House Registry (IHR)position. Hours are 'as needed' and benefits are not offered with this position.
Shifts:7-3:30 pm, 3:00-11:30 pm and 11:00 pm-7:30 am.
*Will need to have availability to cover a variety of shifts including weekdays and weekends. Initial training is completed during the week on day-shift.
The team is seeking a licensed professional with experienceworking with substance abuse and mental health populations.

The Case Therapist I reflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organization’s Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.
Responsible for assessing patients for acute mental health crisis and substance concerns in emergency department and medical/surgical units, treatment planning, providing direct patient services, to include on a limited basis individual and family counseling if needed. Case Therapist coordinates care including communicating with treatment team, patient, and family, documenting in medical record, and discharge planning, continuum of care.
Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling, or related field
Experience working with substance abuse and mental health populations
Licensed Professional Counsellor (LPC), Licensed Social Worker (LSW) within twelve months of hire
Two to five years’ experience and training in assessment, individual, family, and group counselling
Three to five years in intensive treatment setting and /or mental health setting
Certified Alcohol and Drug Counsellor (CADC)
Licensed Social Worker (LSW), or Licensed Professional Counsellor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Professional Counsellor (LCPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Certified Alcohol and Drug Counsellor
