The Consortium Inc. is seeking a Certified Peer Specialist whose main responsibilities include responding to adults in crisis as part of a team, utilizing recovery coaching, and advocating for individuals during difficult times. This role requires a high school diploma, Certified Peer Specialist Certification, and the ability to maintain a positive, empathetic disposition.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate flexibility and cultural competence while being committed to providing exceptional emotional support and guidance to individuals in need.

Qualifications

• Ability to express genuine empathy, care, and concern for each caller.
• Possesses a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to establish positive relationships with peers enrolled in service.

Responsabilités

• Responds to adults in crisis as part of a two-person response team.
• Provides in-community follow-ups within 24–72 hours.
• Maintains effective professional relationships with service providers.
• Completes all necessary written reports and crisis summaries.
