Job summary

The Department of Corrections, Division of Pretrial, Probation and Parole (DP3) is recruiting for a Criminal Justice Technician 1/2 position for the Anchorage Pretrial Office in Anchorage, Alaska. This role assists with electronic monitoring, data entry, and probation/parole support in a fast-paced city office.

Anchorage-based position offering clerical and field responsibilities, including audits, program data maintenance, and collaboration with law enforcement.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced technical and clerical support for the Anchorage Pretrial Office, including document processing and criminal justice data entry.
• Conduct Electronic Monitoring installs and releases daily, perform urinalysis/PBT testing, and support law enforcement staff in paraprofessional tasks.
• Maintain Redwood Toxicology program data collection and randomized testing schedules.
• Assist with monitoring low-risk defendants assigned to the General Supervision bank.
• Conduct cyclical audits of absconder banks and numerous other databases.
