Dunham & Jones, Attorneys at Law, P.C. in Amarillo, TX is seeking a Legal Assistant to support our busy criminal defense practice. This full-time position is based in the Amarillo office, not remote, and requires strong organization and communication with clients and attorneys.

You will assist clients by phone, email, and in person, support attorneys as needed, and help maintain case files in our case management system. The role includes filing and other clerical duties.

Qualifications

• Legal Assistant experience is a plus but not required.
• Bilingual English & Spanish is a plus but not required.
• This is not a remote position.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients via phone, email, and in person with questions or concerns.
• Provide assistance to attorneys when requested.
• Act as liaison between court clerks and the firm.
• Enter new clients into the case management system and maintain the file.
• Filing, backup phone operator & other clerical duties.
