Responsibilities
- Conduct evidentiary hearings, depositions, and trials
- Meet with clients to discuss discovery and negotiate pleas
- Communicate with prosecutors, judges, and court representatives
- Participate in docket calls in state and municipal courts
- Perform legal investigations and prepare legal documents
- Handle consultations with leads and assist in signing them up
- Attend legal proceedings, conduct legal analysis, and provide legal advice
- Collaborate with clients and colleagues to resolve cases
- Provide counseling on legal options and negotiate on clients’ behalf
- Manage case files and ensure updates are accessible to attorneys, paralegals, and staff
- Report to a Supervising Attorney and work closely with the Client Care Team to keep clients fully informed about case status
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
- Active Missouri law license (required)
- Strong typing and technology skills
- Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook, and database software
- Excellent organizational, communication, and follow-up skills
- Strong time management and problem‑solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Professional demeanor and strong people skills
- Flexibility, initiative, sound judgment, and discretion
Compensation
$80,000 - $100,000 yearly
