Responsibilities

• Conducts crime scene investigations and preserves physical evidence.
• Documents investigations using photography and video, including aerial photos.
• Develops and preserves fingerprint and trace evidence with powders and chemicals.
• Scans and analyzes latent prints in APFIS and compares them to records.
• Performs evidence processing and routine safety checks on equipment.
• Prepares detailed reports and presents findings in court as an expert witness.
