Job summary

Requirements

• A minimum of two (2) years of professional work experience in one or more of the following areas: criminal justice, military intelligence, law enforcement, conducting research/interviews, data analysis, investigations, administrative assistant/executive assistant. A post-secondary degree from an accredited university/college may be used as an alternative for the years of professional work experience on a year-for-year basis.
• Professional work experience generally includes roles with administrative, supervisory, analytical, or operational responsibilities in structured or corporate settings. Entry-level roles in the service or retail industry (e.g., McDonald’s, Publix) typically do not qualify.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
• VALID Driver’s License from the Florida Department of Safety and Motor Vehicles by time of employment.

Preferences

• Special consideration may be given to eligible candidates who have bilingual verbal and written skills that meet a critical need of the agency’s mission.
• An active Florida Crime Information Center or National Crime Center certificate.
• VALID Driver’s License from the Florida Department of Safety and Motor Vehicles by time of employment.
• Experience working in law enforcement agency, law firm, fire service industry, or government investigative agency.
