Job summary

ENS Solutions, LLC seeks a mid-level Cribl Engineer to design, build, and optimize enterprise data pipelines feeding downstream SIEM ecosystems. You will focus on Cribl Stream and Cribl Edge, routing, masking, and transforming logs with strong scripting and IaC practices.

The role emphasizes onboarding, safeguarding data flows, and continuous improvement of observability infrastructure within a DoD/IC-aligned IT environment.

Qualifications

• Must have solid experience in building and optimizing enterprise data pipelines for SIEM workflows.
• Strong skills in data normalization and schema mapping (CIM/ECS) for routing to SIEM platforms.
• Proficiency with Cribl Stream/Cribl Edge and implementing routing, masking, enrichment, and replay workflows.
• Experience with scripting (Python, Bash) and IaC tools to automate deployment and configuration.
• Hands-on knowledge of log forwarding, ingestion, and parsing in large-scale environments.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and optimize high-throughput data pipelines with Cribl Stream and Cribl Edge.
• Normalize incoming log sources to standardized schemas before routing downstream.
• Implement complex routing logic, data masking, enrichment, and replay workflows.
• Monitor system health, manage worker topology, and troubleshoot bottlenecks in data flow.
• Automate deployment/configuration with Python, Bash, Ansible, and Terraform; maintain runbooks and docs.
